Batfish originate from the warm tropical waters of the Indian and Pacific Oceans. Known for their distinct, disk-like bodies and gentle temperament, Batfish add unique elegance to saltwater aquariums. Common species include the Longfin Batfish (Platax teira), the Red-Lipped Batfish and the Round-faced Batfish (Platax orbicularis), each distinguished by fin length, color variations, and size.

Batfish types vary in appearance and care needs.
